Dedicated to my wife Elena and my sons Andrés and Sergio.

This project became a reality without me even noticing…

I recently bought a beautiful guitar made by Spanish luthier Manuel Adalid and started "fooling around" with "her", trying to reconnect

with the young boy who, decades ago, began learning how to play

the instrument.

In the process, I started feeling as if "she" was demanding more attention from me, to love her more… and I gladly obeyed…
Inadvertently, ideas started flowing in my head and after a while

there it was:

my first piece for solo guitar.
The next day I shared this event with my bicycle-ride-pal Claudio Corsi, who encouraged me to keep doing it.

My initial reaction was disbelief: I am not a guitarist, you know…

I was supposed to become one but in my youth I had an accident

and severed the tendons in my index finger, so I was forced to change guitar for percussion altogether.  

As days went by, I kept moving forward and without even knowing completed 12 pieces. Driven by this momentum I decided to record

and release an independent solo album including all of them.
